The Old School House - Torvizcon

Situated above the Moorish church at the top of the village this extremely spacious, split level, two bedroomed house enjoys spectacular views of the almost perpetually snow-capped Sierra Nevada and the village itself.

The private entrance gate leads to a secluded walled garden with dining area, barbecue, relaxation pool and sunbathing areas.

Within the house are 2 double bedrooms, large kitchen/diner, shower room and a spacious living area which leads onto a first floor terrace complete with barbecue, doubling as an open fire. One end of the terrace is covered, providing shade during the intense heat of July and August and can also be enclosed to provide an outside area for cooler spring and autumn evenings. All rooms are equipped with fans and there are two woodburning stoves to provide warmth during winter evenings. The traditional style of architecture with shuttered windows ensures the house remains cool in summer and cosy in winter.


The kitchen is fully equipped with 5 ring gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and double sink. There is ample crockery, glassware, cutlery etc. A large dining table provides seating for up to 8 people in comfort.

The living room with its stripped wooden beams is situated on the first floor with two French windows leading onto the terrace. A selection of games and books are provided together with a music system,tv and dvd player. There is wireless internet throughout the house should you wish to bring your laptop.


Both bedrooms have double beds and plenty of storage space. French windows lead from the lower bedroom into the garden whilst the upstairs bedroom has French windows with a view of the picturesque back street.
All bedding and towels are included in the price and a cot and high chair can be provided upon request.

Parking is available 30 meters from the house but a car can be brought to within a few meters of the gate for loading and unloading.

Please be aware that the village streets are steep making this property unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required upon booking with the balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Changeover day
There is no specific changeover day, guests can arrive any day of the week. We are flexible on arrival/departure times, however this is dependent on other guests arriving.
